Great all-inclusive hotel
Food was varied and abundant everyday. The evening shows were great. Rooms were clean and of decent size, roomy enough for our family of 5. Staff were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Easy to walk to Corralejo from the hotel
Some parts of the hotel were a bit smelly in the evenings. Only a couple of the swimming pools were heated, they were therefore a bit crowded. The bathroom was a bit dated and the water pressure from the shower poor.

What was the highlight of Alua Suites Fuerteventura
The hotel was fine. The tennis courts made up for the disappointment above.
The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very wide-ranging and tasty. I didn't eat any of the meals in the restaurant but I'm sure they are fine.
I didn't like the attitude of the staff in reception. I am over 75 and my daughter and her friend were staying in a studio apartment close to the hotel but as I had booked quite late in the day there wasn't room for me to join them. So I opted for this hotel as it was very close to my daughter's place. When I checked in, my daughter wanted to help me to my room and check it out but she wasn't allowed to come with me. When she asked if she could join me for a meal one evening, it turned out that she had to pay a half-day entrance fee on top of the meal. This seemed very mean considering I wasn't eating any of the meals in the hotel apart from breakfast. You got the impression that outsiders weren't welcome at all, which is daft as they would have spent money in the bar, in the shop etc. They did explain the reason for this policy but I still felt they didn't need to be quite so unwelcoming to my daughter.
